'G6PD Deficiency (Foods to be Avoided) Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency (G6PDD)- Glucose 6 phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency is a hereditary condition in which red blood cells break down (hemolysis) when the body is exposed to certain foods, drugs, infections or stress. It occurs when a person is missing or has low levels of the enzyme glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase. This enzyme helps red blood cells work properly. Symptoms during a hemolytic episode may include dark urine, fatigue, paleness, rapid heart rate, shortness of breath, and yellowing of the skin (jaundice). G6PD deficiency is inherited in an X-linked recessive manner and symptoms are more common in males (particularly African Americans and those from certain parts of Africa, Asia, and the Mediterranean). It is caused by mutations in the G6PD gene. Treatment may involve medicines to treat infection, stopping drugs that are causing red blood cell destruction, and/or transfusions, in some cases.https://rarediseases.info.nih.gov/diseases/6520/glucose-6-phosphate-dehydrogenase-deficiency FOOD/DRINKS TO BE AVOIDED - Fava beans -Red wine -Legumes -Blueberry - Soy products -Tonic Water -Bitter melon -nuts Others to be Avoided MENTHOL -Alaxan Gel -Bengay -Efficascent Oil - Listerine Mouthwash -Listerine Pocketpaks -Megascent Oil -Mentopas Medicated Plaster -Omega Killer -Camphor -Mothballs - HENNA Tattoo HERBS -Cattle Gallstone bezoar -Honeysuckle Flower -Chimonanthus Flower -100% Flower -FIgwortFlower -Acalypha Indica Check our other videos g6pdd Symptoms | Diagnosis | Treatment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=beAYh9v30zw DIY Photoshoot of baby from 0 to 6 months using Mobile Phone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e21rppyDDRg&list=PLgTywAfvLvPHjoD4rvcVhc5OJINuT5LVu&index=2&t=7s Proper Way to Pray: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoTGlrUeTyM&t=3s'
