Frank Wiedemann is central to this. He\'s a core artist in the label along with Dixon and Kristian Beyer, his partner in Âme, and by representing the group in the live arena, he\'s been spreading Innervisions\' signature sound at clubs around the world. These days, though, he\'s almost as well known for Howling, his group with Australian folk singer Ry X. Howling represents a full realisation of the emotional pop sound that Âme\'s club records only hint at. The duo scored a breakout smash with their self-titled record in 2012 (1.4 million YouTube views and counting), but it feels like 2015 will be the year they really take off. Sacred Ground, their debut album, will arrive on May 4th via Monkeytown Records x Counter Records, and they\'ll hit the road hard this summer, playing key European events like Nuits Sonores, Melt!, Lovebox and Berlin Festival. Along with their drummer and backup vocalist, Jens Kuross, Howling gave us a taste of what people can expect from those shows. They performed \"Stole The Night\" and \"X-Machina,\" two gently propulsive numbers that capture their distinct spirit.
