'Kuala Lumpur FOOD TOUR: Petaling, Bukit Bintang & Little India'

12:31 Dec 26, 2021
'Kuala Lumpur is the capital of one of the tastiest food meccas in the world! Malaysia boasts Chinese, Indian, local Malay and many other Malaysian foods, and you can find them all in KL. My short stay included exploring foodie heaven locations like Bukit Bintang, Little India in Brickfields, and Petaling Street market. I couldn\'t eat my Roti Canai quickly enough! The Burnt Cheesecake was creamy and delicious, and who knows what I ordered at my visit to Banana Leaf Curry House! When you travel Malaysia, one thing you cannot skip is Malaysian food! After a long journey from Pangkor Island, I arrived at Sentral Station in downtown Kuala Lumpur, a hungry backpacker, and on discovering that I was pretty much beside Brickfields and Little India, I determined to feast on local Indian food before continuing on to my backpacker guesthouse located near Pasar Seni. I stopped at an Indian restaurant called Sithique, and ordered a simple dahl curry with roti with a 7up for under 5 ringgit. Sithique was located on the main street within Brickfields, and just across from a large mall close by Sentral Station. Petaling street which is the main walking street in China Town, Kuala Lumpur, is home to lots of exotic fruit that travelers, tourists, and even locals must admire! You can buy fresh fruit and fruit juices for around five ringgit, but make sure you stop by Etc. to enjoy their burnt cheesecake! We ordered creamy cheesecake with matcha tea, and enjoyed the cool air con despite the very hot day outside. Etc. is located within the Petaling St./China Town market.'
