'This racoon got a reprieve from my Beeman R9 .22 pellet rifle this morning only because he was on my porch at 2:00 AM and I didn\'t want to clean up the bloody mess. He has been eating our cat, C.C.s food for the past few weeks and now I know who the culprit is! I did have a bead on him with my pellet rifle and was tempted. Next time Rocky it\'s lights out!!! He obvisously is not rabid as he did not hiss or come at me. — at Edgemoor, South Carolina.'
