'Roti John (Omelette Sandwich) with Chicken and Cheese | SINGAPORE FOOD'

'Anyone up for a fully-loaded sandwich?  It took me some time to decide what to order, and quite honestly, I don’t exactly remember how I ended up picking this.   This fully-loaded, soft, baguette-style sandwich is probably as hardcore as I would go as far as eating a Roti John is concerned.  There were a number of options on the menu to pick from, and although I wanted something basic, it felt like a little more eye candy might work better for the video.  Typically, the sandwich would have mutton, but I opted for chicken this time instead.   The sandwich arrived, and I was a little overwhelmed.  There it was, sitting in a shallow bath of sweet tomato-chilli sauce and slathered liberally with melted cheese — certainly a sight to behold.  On the inside was a generous amount of omelette crisp around the edges with chopped red onions, tender chicken, and mayonnaise — with absolutely no lack at all in both taste or flavour.  I can imagine how this would appeal to many who love their sandwiches prepared in this manner.  Perhaps it was just me, but I think I would have enjoyed the experience much more if there was a lot less tomato-chilli sauce.  Otherwise, this wicked beast here did its job pretty darn well.'
