'This year, #WorldFoodDay is marked in a year where the world faces profound food security challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, climate change, environmental degradation, biodiversity loss, compounded by inequality and armed conflicts. The world needs to take action. With the theme ‘Leave no one behind. Better production, better nutrition, a better environment, and a better life,’ the World Food Day 2022 campaign calls for global solidarity and action to transform agrifood systems in a bid to foster inclusive economic growth, address inequalities, increase resilience, and achieve sustainable development. The summit is presented in partnership with Food Tank, Ohio State University, Ohio Food Policy Network, and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and UN Environment Programme (UNEP). Hosted by WOSU-NPR.
