'Ho, Ho Wataney is a beautiful lullaby that comes from the Iroquois Indians of the American Northeast. It\'s has a simple, soft melody that utilizes the pentatonic scale. To give the song a bit of extra depth, I\'ve added a simple ostinato. It\'s written in such a way that students can play the ostinato on the xylophones- but you can also use bells or boomwackers as well. I personally used the bells with my kindergarten class, and the song became one of their favorites. You\'ll also notice that the song is dedicated to baby Valencia Elise- she\'s my daughter born just a week prior to posting this.'
