'This video will show you how to create a canvas food photography background at home for less than 500 INR (cost may vary due to brands). The entire process takes around 30 minutes to complete. Size of canvas used in this video - 1 meter x 28 inches I used primed rolled canvas. If the canvas you are buying is not primed, you will need to use primer on it before painting. That will be an added cost, however, the canvas will be cheaper. I bought 1m of canvas at a local store for Rs.215. Cost of the colors varies with the shade. I used only one squeeze of each color (lot of color still left). You can use a single shade and reduce cost. Preferably over newspapers. 2) Spray the canvas lightly with water. 3) Pour the paints to a palette. You can use either one shade or mix 2-3 shades. 4) Using a large brush or a sponge, paint the canvas. The strokes don\'t have to be even. Uneven strokes create more texture. 5) Dry naturally or under the fan until 70% dry. 6) Using a dry rag cloth, pat the semi-wet paint to create patches. If the paint has dried completely, spray water lightly or wet the rag slightly. 7) Allow to dry completely before using for food photography.
