'Homemade Cat Food Fish Fillet Recipe and Instructions: (Double Check If Your Fish Is Safe For Cats First!) 1. Scale, fillet fish, and remove all bones (specifically pin bones if you fillet them properly unlike me haha) 2. Preheat oven (wash your hands prior to avoid contamination c:) to 375 °F 3. Place de-boned and cleaned fillets in aluminum foil and cover them to steam/ keep moisture in. 4. Set timer for 5 minutes and wait (you can use this time to clean up your workstation to make use of time :D) 5. Check on fish to see how it looks, then place back into the oven. Set another 5-minute timer then wait (have a container labeled to put your cooked fillets in). 6. At this point the fillets are already probably done cooking. I turn off the oven and let the ambient heat carry-over to the fillets for an extra 5 minutes, but that\'s just me 7. Take cooked fillets out and let them cool before handing 8. Check to see if fillets are done (fillets fall apart and flake very easily, if not then you can place it back into the oven and cook for another 5 minutes) then put them into your labeled Cat Food container. 9. Let homemade catfood cool off a bit more before serving or place in the refrigerator for later use! It\'s done right now but I let it chill in carry-over heat for another 5 minutes 08:28 Fully baked and ready cat food fish fillets :D You know they\'re done when the fillets break apart and flake easily 09:05 Finished product, mix a bit to add chunk size variety and you\'re all done :D 09:20 All done! Concluding thoughts and remarks c: In this video, I turn some leftover fish into fresh homemade cat food! I show you how to turn fresh fish into simple and easy cat food! I use a very simple and easy no salt and seasoning recipe that could be used for any leftover fish. I thought of this because there are times that Amber and I go fishing on charter boats and have more than enough fish for ourselves and for friends/ family. This way, I can feed cats as well as not have fish stack up in the freezer until it is forgotten. Quick and easy bake recipe, you don’t have to use freshly caught fish, you can also use fish bought from the store, just don’t forget to double-check if it’s good eats for your cat! Here\'s a link to the California Surf Anglers Facebook Group! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1791530244491062/ Whether you\'re a seasoned veteran angler or a beginner just starting out, go ahead and join CSA! They are a group that focuses primarily on surf fishing here in California, filled with many wonderful people who would be more than happy to share their knowledge with any surf fishing questions you may have. A lot of surf fishing I learn from them so go check them out :D Hope you guys enjoyed, feel free to leave comments, suggestions, and feedback! Cheers, Sven *Disclaimer*: Double-check your state or county\'s regulations on feeding stray cats. Though I mentioned feeding stray cats in this video, the intent was more to show what you can with leftover fish/ provide a healthy meal for your own pets, as well as just providing my thoughts on stray cats in general.
