'Ginataang Kalabasa is an authentic Filipino food that we\'ve been excited to cook because it contains all the flavours we love! Ginger, Garlic, Coconut Milk and Pumpkin are just a few. As a British Family now living on Siargao Island in the Philippines with our 3 year old kid, we are getting to know what it is like to truly be here. Collecting organic ingredients from the source and cooking local specialty dishes. See what we think of this homely Filipino food as we do a little episode of cooking with Story. Here\'s the link to our new Facebook Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/eightmilesfromhomesupportersgroup Our names are Jmayel, Sacha & Story. We traveled to Siargao island with Jmayel\'s mum & Story\'s grandma just before the Global pandemic that sent the whole planet into quarantine. We got stranded for months and fell in love with island life, now we want to make that life more permanent. Follow us on this journey :-) ⏹️OUR AMAZON STORE: https://www.amazon.com/shop/eightmilesfromhome
