'Another Acronym for the KFC, Korean Fried Chicken! The Korean Cultural Centre Canada is pleased to present the first episode of \"K-Food Series\". Yesterday, July 26 was Jungbok(중복), one of the three hottest days of the season according to tradition: Chobok, Jungbok and Malbok. During Jungbok, Koreans traditionally eat invigorating food such as Samgyetang(ginseng chicken soup) to boost up energy from the scorching heat of summer. However, today, we would like to introduce another widely popular chicken dish called, Yangnyeum Chicken aka. KFC, to overcome the sweltering heat wave. Yangnyeum Chicken is seasoned chicken cut into pieces, deep-fried, and mixed with gochujang and ketchup, as well as other sauces.
