Why? There’s a very delicate relationship between your stomach, brain, and even your eyes when it comes to keeping you alive and well-nourished. Depending on the day and the other factors of life, we are not always mindful when we eat, isn’t that right, Brainiac? Sometimes, our brain uses its automatic and unconscious way to let us know that our stomach is empty. Other times, our eyes have all the say. But while we would all love to shed a few pounds, it’s very important that our brain reminds us to eat in order to keep us healthy. Not only was he very underweight, but his body did not take in sufficient minerals, nutrients, and vitamins vital for basic function. And even if you did not have a rare medical condition we’ve all been in situations where we just forget to eat due to stress, anxiety, or distraction. Why is that? And what can eating disorders reveal to us about the healthy relationship between the brain and our appetite. In today’s video, we dive deep into hunger and all the factors that affect this very important (and delicious) part of our lives.'
