'What is Dragon Beard Candy(龙须糖)?  The Dragon’s beard candy is a traditional handmade candy originated from China. It is similar to cotton candy or candy floss, which also has a soft and silky texture. The skin is made with sugar and maltose syrup, hand pulled in a powdered sugar bed till a stringy and silky consistency is achieved. The silky candy skin is often wrapped around stuffings such as sesame seeds and crushed peanuts. It is recommended to eat immediately as the skin is prone to melt in hotter or humid environments.
