'This was a trip we were waiting for a long long time. In fact we went there once earlier but due to some reason had to return back. Shillong is full of wonderful and warm people and its food reflects their love and kindness. From road-side food to local eateries to plus restaurants and cafes, Shillong has a lot to offer. Though its one of the most crowded hill-stations we have ever visited, the food, climate, rivers, falls and its scenic beauty made us feel very happy. We tried pork and chicken tikkas, local jadoh rice, indochinese food, local fruits (don\'t miss the pineapples there), Khasi thali, baked food at a food truck and what not.
