'#17: We Asked A Local: PENANG Street Food and Hidden Gems!'

03:50 Feb 13
'If you\'re travelling to Malaysia, Penang street food is something you absolutely can\'t miss! With so many stalls serving up local favourites like char kuay kak (fried rice cakes), it should definitely be on your list when you visit Malaysia. But there\'s also a lot of other things to do in Penang, which most tourists might not know about - so we asked a local travel blogger, Sock Peng Ng, to be our Penang, Malaysia travel guide, to show us some hidden gems that are a little more off the beaten path. Places we visited include: 1) Kimberley Street Food Market (George Town) 2) Bee Hwa Cafe (George Town) 3) Pasar Chowrasta [Chowrasta Market] (George Town) 4) Balik Pulau rice paddies, great place for a stroll 5) 2F+ Coffee Roastery (Balik Pulau) Let Tattle Tales be your Malaysia travel guide! Each \"Tattle Tales\" video features a different experience with a local host. We like to focus on things that are a little more off the beaten path, where you can experience the local culture, not just the tourist traps. We release new videos every Saturday. Season 1 takes place in Malaysia and we\'ll deliver 25 episodes from January to June 2020! SUBSCRIBE to our video and click the \"bell\" icon to get updates every time we release a new video!
