'Earlier today, Bill S-227 (Food Day in Canada Act) was passed unanimously at Second Reading in the House of Commons! Food Day Canada was created by the late Anita Stewart during the dark days of the BSE crisis in 2003 as a way to show support for the beef industry. Nearly 20 years later, this Bill serves as an opportunity to celebrate and promote Canadian food from field to fork.'
