'Naga Hoho has condemned the statement made by Nagaland BJP president Temjen Imna Along that the “Naga flag and constitution are not achievable” in the proposed solution to the protracted Naga political issue. Temjen Imna Along, who is also the Minister for Higher Education and Tribal Affairs, said during the Nagaland Legislative Assembly session, that the government of India won’t give a separate constitution and flag to the Nagas and the people should come to an understanding to live in peace and prosperity. In a press statement issued on Sunday, Naga Hoho said the statement was ‘ludicrous and exhibits his deliberate outrageous attitude towards the Naga people’s rights to live freely as distinct people and the uniqueness of the Naga political history as recognised by the Government of India .
